Animal Medical Center

The Animal Medical Center (AMC) of Orland Park, located at 16200 S. LaGrange Road , has been serving the community for over 27 years!  Owned and operated by Dr. Bryan Lantow, the AMC philosophy is to treat each pet that enters their doors as if it were one of their own.

Operating daily (Monday - Saturday) with 6 highly trained veterinarians (treating dogs, cats, and small mammals), professionally trained veterinary technicians, state-of-the-art equipment and full service boarding and grooming facilities.  Each staff member of AMC strives to create a family-type atmosphere for your pet by providing it with love, respect and kindness in a caring environment. 

Everyone at the Animal Medical Center, from the support staff to the doctors, is personally committed to providing a superior level of medical care. These things combined are an important distinction that separates AMC from others in the veterinary field.

    Dr. Lantow    , the owner of Animal Medical Center, is a graduate of Iowa State University.  He is proud to say that AMC has been serving the community for over 30 years.  He encourages growth potential for doctors and staff on a daily basis, by providing up-to-date information on the latest advancements in veterinary technology.  He and his staff consistently strive to provide quality care and excellent customer service to the AMC client family.

  • Dr. Kirsten Handke Jeffers

    Dr. Handke is a graduate of The Ohio State University and has been practicing at the Animal Medical Center since 1999. A resident of Illinois, she lives with her husband and two cats named Maxie and Merlin.  Although she still considers Ohio "home", she holds veterinary licenses in Illinois, Ohio and Indiana.  Aside from veterinary medicine, other favorite things include football (GO BUCKEYES!), travel and last but not least ...CHOCOLATE!

    Dr. Porcelli is a University of Illinois graduate.  He has a special interest in orthopedic medicine and pain management, as well as being credentialed in stem cell therapy.  In addition to caring for his regular canine and feline patients, he also sees small mammals. He lives with his wife and daughter, plus two cats, Buckley and Cotton.

  • Dr. Amy Rose

    Dr. Rose is a 2001 University of Illinois graduate.  After graduation, she went on to complete a small animal medicine and surgery internship at Mississippi State University.  She has been practicing at Animal Medical Center since 2003.  Dr. Rose lives with her husband and two children, plus a miniature poodle named Ada, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Levi, 2 guinea pigs, and 4 parakeets. She enjoys spending her spare time with family and friends.
